Show us Your Stuff June Challenge

I have finally managed to sit and do the June Show Us Your Stuff challenge, not having had much of a chance to scrap this month, and this is one of my favourite challenge sites to do. This month, there was a recipe to follow with the following requirements:
Here's a reminder of the challenge - a recipe challenge by Catie..

Ok, here's our recipe for June:
At least one hand made item.
A sprinkling of stars
A dash of sequins
A title that includes at least 2 different types of alpha stickers
3 buttons/flair
2 photos
1 arrow

Mix together and share your masterpiece!
It was a fun challenge, but did get me needing to scour my supplies, and put my thinking cap on to create a masterpiece. Not sure I managed that, but I did manage to create a cute layout of a friends daughter. I have included a couple of handmade items, the handmade stars, handmade fabric covered button, handmade fimo flower - so have certainly met that criteria. I think I NEED to get some sequins for my stash.
Thanks for looking at my layout.

D'lish scraps June challenge

Wow, the inspiration board for the June D'lish Scraps challenge is so bright, colourful and cheery. It was the perfect colour combination using yellow, pink, aqua and black for a photo I wanted to scrap from my recent 50th birthday party.

The sketch also was a lot of fun to play with, and I am really happy with the end result of my layout, which is funky, fun and bright. I went back into the old stash and found some Love Elsie paper and embellishments which worked perfectly for the layout, along with some funky flowers, and button flair from D'lish scraps. Thanks for looking.

White With 1 June Challenge - pomegranite

The June White With 1 challenge is to use the colour pomegranite. It's an interesting colour as pomegranites can be interpreted in a few ways, including a more pinky tone. However, I went with more of the red tone with this layout. I had a bit of fun with this layout, choosing to do a very themed layout, not something I usually do any more, but the photos needed the footies.
This is our little nephew Jareth, who was having a lot of fun playing with his footy, and anyone who would play with him on this day. His father loved playing footy, and has been a footy coach, so needless to say, and as depicted in the journaling, Jareth loves footy too.
Thanks for looking at my layout.

Les Aliberts

This is one of the layouts I have created this weekend, scrapping with my friend Alz. I just did this layout, asa I wanted to add to my France album, it's for no particular challenge.
This is one of the areas in France we visited last year, in the south. The town Minerve dates back to 1100 AD, and is a tiny village in one of the wine growing areas. Our accommodation was in an old farm house, which has been developed into lovely units. We stayed as a large group of friends, and had a lot of fun. It was an idyllic place to stay, the hosts were fabulous.
Thanks for looking.

Scrapbook Savvy May Cybercrop word challenge

This layout is the second of the two layouts from the Scrapbook Savvy May Cybercrop that I chose to do, which was a word challenge, the challenge to use the word WISH on the layout. I could have taken the easy option and used WISH in my title, that would have been too easy. Instead, I used it in my journalling, and used these timeline photos of my kids taken back in March at my birthday dinner. My kids have a great sibling relationship, they really do adore each other, and look out for each other all the time. They had a bit of fun this night, and I was lucky enough to capture it on my camera. (Thanks for indulging me guys).
I really had fun with this layout, creating some little speech bubbles (something I never thought I would use in a layout), and getting messing with mediums to create the background.
The word WISH is in the top speech bubble.
Thanks for looking.

Scrabook Savvy May Cybercrop colour challenge

I've had a scrapping weekend with my buddy Alz this weekend, and we decided to join in the Scrapbook Savvy May Cybercrop again, like we did last month. I managed to scrap 2 of the challenges, this being the colour challenge. The challenge was to use pink, yellow, orange and turquoise in a layout. Not too hard for me to choose the correct photos for this, having had my 60's theme birthday party back in March, lol. With the vibrancy of my photos, I was able to put these colours into the layout perfectly. My cake fitted into the colours really well.
I had a lot of fun with this layout, and again it's possibly a bit over the top, as it appears my party layouts are turning out.
Thanks for looking.

Lets Get Shabby Challenge #55

I'd like to share my layout for the current Let's Get Shabby Challenge, which is to utilise DOUBLE as inspiration for the layout. This could be done in the title, double photos, double embellishments, etc, etc. Well, double it I did. Ive used double photos, double in the title, and some double embellishments - pretty sure I met the criteria - lol.
The photos I've chosen, deserved a soft pretty approach, in my opinion, this challenge was perfect for them.
Thanks for looking.
