D-lish Scraps DT share 3 September

Hi everyone, I am back with my last share for the month. This layout was inspired this months inspiration board, I loved it that much, lol.

I was inspired by the handmade flowers in the second picture, plus the colours. I made my own handmade flowers to replicate those in the board. I did this using wet tissue paper and a rubber stamp and moulded the paper over the stamp. I then added some paint to the ridges.

D-lish Scraps DT share 2 - September - All you need is love and a dog

Hi everyone, I am back with my second share for September. This layout is my challenge layout for the cybercrop at  The Scrap Suite. I hope you have managed to take a look at the challenges.
So my challenge is to scrap a family pet. This puppy in the layout is my sons dog, Dusty, who we just adore so much. He has such a beautiful nature and a fun personality, and is extremely clever and handsome - yes I do love him, lol.
Anyway, these photos are from his first birthday, I just had to cook him a cake - carrot and peanut butter, he loved it.
All you need is love and a dog
It's a pretty busy layout, but it suited the photos well, I think.
This first cluster features a 5 x 7 paper bag to mat the photos, Creative Cuts die cutspaint chips tab wordJAP kit bits, wood veneer star.

D-lish Scraps DT share 1 September

Hi everyone, Spring has sprung. Here at D-lish Scraps, we are celebrating spring with a new inspiration board:

How pretty is this? I hope you feel inspired to have a play with this.

So today I would like to share the layout I have created with this inspiration board in mind.

Precious

I was inspired by the colours and the flowers from the board.

There is a gorgeous JAP kit to match this board, however I used products from the Flights of Fantasy JAP kit - heart cabachons, flair, sequins and butterfly. You can see in the first cluster the sequins and butterfly, along with Little Birdie flowers - pearl petities - blush and tie dye gypsies - blush, as well as a white paper doily.

In the second cluster the flair and heart cabacahon appear along with Little Birdie flowerswood veneer leaves and Memory Maze lasercut chipboard title

I hope we get to see your creations using this lovely combination.

Scrap the Boys September DT share

Well, there you go, it is September already. Could someone kindly tell me where August went, lol.
So the new challenge is ready at Scrap the Boys. I am sure you will love this:
Who could not resist doing this challenge?
I have used a photo of a great nephew, Hendrix. This was him as a little baby, he is now 2.
I love how he is looking at the camera, just like the image in the challenge.
I created a mixed media background, which was a lot of fun, and it really went well with what he was wearing.
I included a Charms Creations denim super star, which was also a perfect match to what he was wearing in the photo.

Scrap the Girls September DT share - Crazy Chicks

Can you believe it is September? I can't. So here is the new challenge for September at Scrap the Girls:

I have used sketches a lot as inspiration for a layout, but this one threw me, know idea why, but I pulled my big girl socks up and after discarding my first layout, I decided on this one.
I think my problem was initally I was trying to use the 3 small photos, and it wasn't working, so when I decided to used just one photo, but keeping the sketch in mind, it came together. I have also tweeked the sketch a little, by putting the title at the bottom of the page - swapping it with the details, which I have added to the top of the page.
I stamped a few flowers, coloured them and fussy cut them. I used some Dusty Attic chibpoard with cogs, and the grungy paper, to give the grungy feel to this layout. Given that the photo is monotone, I wanted to add some colour to the layout, and did this with the flowers, and spraying the background paper.
I had some die cuts from Created by Gwen, to add a pop of white to the layout. They are lovely die cuts to work with.
The final touch to the layout, is the inclusion of the Charms Creations DIY star, which I have stamped on and coloured with 2 different colours.

Kraft plus September DT share - Smile

Wow, it is September, where has this year gone? Anyway, that means a new challenge is ready for the new month at Kraft Plus, this one should be fun:
I am amazed at how people love stationary and office supplies, I don't really get into the whole officeworks craze, just get my basics - I am a simple kind of girl, lol. So no I did not do a special trip to officeworks, I scoured the home office to see what was available to use for this challenge. It is amazing what is still in the house from when the kids were at school.
On my layout, I started with a page divider, which was title May - perfect for the photo, taken in May. To this I applied alcohol ink, that was so much fun, and a new way for me to include alcohol ink into my scrapping projects. I used staples and brads to attach this and some notebook paper to the Kraft cardstock. I used 2 types of paper clips, and some graph paper at the top of the photo. The cluster at the bottom of the photo has some paper clips in penguin form - so cute, I added a used stamp and typed my journaling onto some graph paper. The date and the babies names I have written on some sticky note paper. All of this from our home office. I had fun with this. Looks like I need to use more office supplies in my scrapping.
To finish it, a Charms Creations chevron was the perfect scrapping item to use.
