D-lish Scraps DT share 1 January - Sweet

Happy New Year 2019.

Well some of us are back into the swing of being back at work, for others of you, still relaxing on your summer break. Enjoy.

Today I am sharing my first share for 2019. I have used the inspiration board as inspiration for my layout. Although it is not celebrating the New Year, I thought it was still useful for celebrating a new baby.  Here is the inspiration board:

Sweet

So I was inspired by the colours, and by the phrase new beginnings in the inspiration board. 

The first cluster shows Corbett Creations wood veneer word and bow, Little Birdie Pearl Petites flower.

The second cluster features bitty bag, coloured doily, Magnolia flower.

In this last cluster, I have also added a flair button, and a journal its tag from a JAP kit.

I love the way the colours came together for this sweet layout. 

D-lish Scraps DT December share 2 - Aperol Spritz

Hi everyone, I am back with my second share for December. 

This layout is one I have created using one of the cybercrop challenges over at the Scrap Suite, that were posted last week. Take a look, there are some awesome challenges. My layout is inspired by the challenge set by Amanda Hartmann, a travel page.

Aperol Spritz

My layout is from my recent holiday to Italy, where I had many experiences, one of which was discovering the Aperol Spritz, oh my, so refreshing on a hot day.

Anyway, on my layout, I used a stencil from the Love Like This JAP kit, in spots around the edge of the page, with some texture paste. 

In my first cluster, I have used a bitty bag, colour me cuts wildflowers, pastel petals and bow from a past kit bits.

The second cluster features the colour me cuts, pastel petals, as well as flair button, punchinella, enamel dots, and Journal Its from Love Like This JAP kit.

I keep finding bits in my left over JAP kits that suit all sorts of pages, lol. 

D-lish Scraps December DT share 1 - Cheers to Us

Hi everyone, can you believe it is December? I really can't, I really need another month up my sleeve.

My first share for December is one inspired by the December Inspiration Board, a nice summery board, sure to get you searching for those summer pictures from last year.

My photo is from last December, a rare moment to catch up with my sister, as we live in different states, and this was her birthday, and she was in my home city.

I quite liked the vintage feel to the inspiration board, and was inspired by the flower image. So I chose a floral paper, and then went from there. 

In my first cluster I have used a Green Tara Azalea, Colour me cuts flowers, which I coloured using gelatos, flair, Little Birdie pearl petites marshmallow flowers, forget me nots, faceted enamel dots. 

I also added a white paper doily and a Green Tara Jasmine flower.

D-lish Scraps DT share 2 - cybercrop challenge

Hi everyone, I am popping in with my layout for the November D-lish Scraps cybercrop. 

For this challenge, I focused on using metallics, not something I do much, but for this layout it worked really well, with a lot of different metallics.

Silver and Sparkle

I started by using some metallic texture paste through a stencil on the background. I then gathered as many metallic embellishments as I could, and used what worked best. 

This first cluster features a white paper doily, sequin bow, coloured wire, flower sequins, punchinella, flair button, pastel petals, and a cornflower. 

Here is another view of the cluster, showing some of my title, which I found some glitter alpha stickers, to add to the sparkle and shine.

D-lish Scraps DT share 2 - September - All you need is love and a dog

Hi everyone, I am back with my second share for September. This layout is my challenge layout for the cybercrop at  The Scrap Suite. I hope you have managed to take a look at the challenges.
So my challenge is to scrap a family pet. This puppy in the layout is my sons dog, Dusty, who we just adore so much. He has such a beautiful nature and a fun personality, and is extremely clever and handsome - yes I do love him, lol.
Anyway, these photos are from his first birthday, I just had to cook him a cake - carrot and peanut butter, he loved it.

It's a pretty busy layout, but it suited the photos well, I think. 

This first cluster features a 5 x 7 paper bag to mat the photos, Creative Cuts die cuts, paint chips tab word, JAP kit bits, wood veneer star.

The second cluster features punchinella, JAP past kit bit wood veneer star, flair button, carnation, and enamel dots.

D-lish Scraps July DT share 3 - Sunday Best

Hi everyone, today is my last share for this month, a cute little vintage layout.
I had this photo in my stash, a family photo from when I was a little girl, taken one morning after church. This was back in the 70's, and my mother was so glamorous with her hat, my father so dapper in his suit, my sister and I once again dressed like twins, and my brother in his little homemade suit as well. All of us except Dad, were wearing home made clothes, most probably made by my very clever grandmother.

So I wanted to continue with the vintage feel of this layout. The papers felt to me like they were right for a vintage inspired layout, with that mix of mustard and pink and multi patterned. 

My first cluster shows creative cuts which I have coloured gold, enamel dot, Little Birdie petite pastel flower.

The next cluster features paper doily, flair button, and pastel petal flower.

The last cluster includes creative cuts leaves, which I left raw, Little Birdie tie dye flower, and a pink bow from a past kit bit. 

I love the vintage feel that was created, yet giving it a modern edge. Creating this layout has made me feel a bit nostalgic for times gone by, but that's the great thing about scrapping our memories.

Adorable - D-lish Scraps August DT share 1

Hi everyone, it;s August already, and nearly the end of winter, yay, it's been so cold. I guess when it is horrible weather, it gives us time to scrap away and not be worried about missing the sunshine.
So anyway, today I present my first August share, this one is insipired by the August inspiration board:

How pretty is this? It having the sweet theme to it, I wanted to use a sweet photo, so I did this one of a friends grand-daughter, she is so sweet in this photo. 

Adorable

Wow I did pull out some old papers for this, remember those die cut scalloped pages - yes, that is what that is behind the photo, but it worked so well. Anyway, I think I have brought it back to the modern day with all the D-lish Scraps goodies. I also stenciled the background paper, with some texture paste and added some colour to the stenciled hearts. 

In my first cluster, I have used Memory Maze chipboard word title, white paper doily, Creative Cuts heart, Green Tara Jasmine flower, Pastel petals, wood veneer leaves, and enamel dot.

The second cluster features a cornflower, wood veneer leaf, flair button, sequin bow, pastel petals, ombre wordfetti and enamel dot.

The last cluster, features a Creative Cuts large heart behind the photo, and a bitty bag.

Jam & Cram - D-lish Scraps DT share number 3 August

Hi everyone, I am back with my last share for July. This layout is inspired by one of the current cybercrop challenges in the Scrap Suite, by Amy Churchward. I love Amy's work, so she is so clever with mixed media. So Amy's challenge is to be inspired by food. Amy's original inspiration was scones, and I had this photo in my stash waiting to be scrapped, yes scones. It was a no brainer, lol.

Jam & Cream

I had a lot of fun with this one. The cafe we were at when I took this photo, is a vintage inspired little cafe, with lots of vintage items around it, and they do the best scones, it is what they are known for, the name of the cafe is Jam & Cream. 

Anyway, I decided to try to keep a vintage theme to the layout. I found in my vintage stash this page from an old magazine, with the words "made from wheat", and it was a perfect fit for the layout, along with the vintage lace and crochet doily. 

I was then able to embellish it perfectly with my D-lish Scraps products.

With this first cluster, I have used a paper doily, cut in half and tucked behind the photo. I have added flowers and leaves from the Love like this just add paper kit. To finish, I used Creative Cuts leaves, flair button and ombre wordfetti strip of words. 

With the second cluster, I repeated the Ombre wordfetti, coloured paper doily half, Creative Cuts leaves, flowers and leaves from just add paper kit. I also added a Green Tara jasmine flower.

I love the overall effect of this layout. 

D-lish Scraps July DT share 1 - You and Me

Hi everyone, I am back with my first July share, and this one I have based on this months inspiration board. Here is a reminder of the inspiration board:

I loved the monochromatic touch to this moodboard, and also the touches of luxury with the silver glitter colour and the crystal earrings. 

I was inspired to create this layout, using a photo from a nieces wedding, you can't get much more luxurious than with a wedding. 

You and Me

I started by using some transparent texture paste, to which I sprinkled some glitter over whilst it was wet. 

I embellished the layout by adding a 6 inch white paper doily, rose creative cuts which I coloured silver, carnations and sequins.

The second cluster shows coloured paper doily, flair button, magnolia flower, and heart wood veneer.

I have also included a sequin bow. 

I think this layout really does have a touch of luxury about it, glitter and sequins certainly assist that.

D-lish Scraps June share #3 - Pyrenees

Hi everyone, this is my last share for June, and isn't it scary that's half of the year gone.

I was quite excited to do this layout, another page for my album from my France trip 5 years ago.

We didn't get to visit the Pyrenees Alps, but looking from a distance, I so do want to go there.

So I created the background with stencil, texture paste and stamping, a spray of blue, my favourite way to create backgrounds. 

Embellishing this layout was fun, using punchinella, bitty blooms, and Kinder Kreations chipboard chevrons from the together pack. I also added Creative Cuts pie charts. The main feature is Pip berry stems which I have used to frame the photo.

The next cluster features carnations, and a wild rose. 

The last cluster has a flair button and kraft journal it's.

One day I will get my France album finished, lol.

D-lish Scraps June share #2 - Little Helper

Hi everyone, I am back with my 2nd June share.

This layout I created, using a theme from the March cybercrop, monochrome layout. 

Of course, I had to choose pink as my monochromed theme. 

I started with the background that had been geli-plated then added texture paste through a  hexagonal stencil, and then a combination of sprays in different pink tones. 

I also added a bow from the Love like this kit bits and some of the new flower sequins.

The next cluster includes a paper doily, Green Tara jasmine flower, resin flower and Peach Twist kit bit veneer. 

Finally, the last cluster, has a flair button hiding at the top.

Pink is a great colour to work with.

D-lish Scraps June share 1 - Tired Boy

Hi everyone, I am back with my first share for June, this one is inspired by the inspiration board.

Aren't the colours fabulous, infact the whole board is terrific.

So I was inspired by the solar system image, stripes and the arrow. Also by the phrase "lie in the grass", to create this layout.

So starting with some really old patterned papers, I found just the right ones to match the colours in the inspiration board. I then stamped onto the background, the circles are to replicate the solar system in the inspiration board. I also stamped the arrows, using a really old stamp set, but it worked.

For the first cluster, I used a bitty bag, flair button, veneer stars from the Boys Rule kit bits, and ombre wordfetti.

The second cluster features a butterfly wood veneer from the April Peach Twist kit bits.

The last little cluster also contains a resin polka dot button.

I often find that I can make the old stuff look like new again, when you add fun embellishments to them. So take a browse in the shop, and see just what you can find to dress up your old papers.

D-lish Scraps May share 3

Hi everyone, this is my last share for May. This is a layout I had a lot of fun with, who doesn't love a cute doggy photo, and Dusty is very cute. 

So Dusty and his dad (my son) were off camping when this photo was taken. Hence the idea behind the layout, and all of the leaves and flowers. 

You may remember my first share this month I used the pip berrry stems as a feature under the photo, so I decided this layout needed the same feature. 

The cluster I created with a Kraft paper bag, Kraft journal its tag, flair button, bitty blooms, and ombre wordfetti.

It's easy to create a nature inspired layout, when you consider the embellishments in the D-lish Scraps shop.
