The Good Life
Welcome to my blog. So what does the title mean? Basically Sandra's World, in French. It's just a play on words when brainstorming for my blog title. My husband and I travelled to France in 2013, and fell in love with this country. The French language is also so lovely. I love to create with both paper and fabric, and along with scrapbooking I also love quilting.

Scrap the Girls August challenge
I managed to get some scrapping done at a retreat last weekend, and had a go at the Scrap the Girls August challenge, using the Instagram logo, as inspiration.
For my layout, I was inspired by the green and red colours, the cream base and the heart.
Scrap the Boys August Challenge
Well it's been a little while since I was here on my blog, I hope I can remember how to do it lol.
Recently I was at a retreat and played along with a few challenges, so one of them was the Scrap the Boys August challenge. A colour moodboard.
I chose this photo of my nephews. Given the challenge was also to be inspired by the architecture, I noticed in the photo, there is some balustrade, and I thought it was a nice architectural element, I had a stencil that was similar in design, and used this as the base on my cardstock, and just went from there.
Thanks for looking.

D-lish Scraps DT share 1 January - Sweet
Happy New Year 2019.
Well some of us are back into the swing of being back at work, for others of you, still relaxing on your summer break. Enjoy.
Today I am sharing my first share for 2019. I have used the inspiration board as inspiration for my layout. Although it is not celebrating the New Year, I thought it was still useful for celebrating a new baby. Here is the inspiration board:
And here is my layout:
Sweet
So I was inspired by the colours, and by the phrase new beginnings in the inspiration board.
The first cluster shows Corbett Creations wood veneer word and bow, Little Birdie Pearl Petites flower.
In this last cluster, I have also added a flair button, and a journal its tag from a JAP kit.
I love the way the colours came together for this sweet layout.
