Show Us Your Stuff June Challenge

This month at Show Us Your Stuff, the challenge is a lot different to anything we have had for a long time. This month we need to dig into our old stuff, and create something. Here is the challenge:
So combined with a sketch, this one is pretty interesting.
For my layout, the abandoned items I used are coloured card stock, felt die cuts, an acrylic frame, metal charms, printed transparency, stickers and a brad. The patterned paper is pretty old too, lol. Despite the challenge of trying to get these items to work together, it was a great challenge for really getting creative, which I hope I have.
My hand made items include Charms Creations emoji, and a Charms Creations heavenly heart. I also have a Birdie's embellies emoji button, made by our own Vicki Burden.
I hope you have a go at this challenge, don't be afraid of the old stuff, use it and get creative and have some fun.

Kraft plus June challenge

This month at Kraft plus, the challenge is to use puzzles.
I had every intention of finding an old puzzle at an op shop, but time has been against me lately, and I am not finding time to do things like that. So I have used a Sizzix die that cuts out puzzle pieces.
I scrapped this photo of my Dad, who loves a puzzle. He has a stash of old puzzles from his childhood, and I don't know a puzzle yet that he hasn't figured out - good for the old brain - lol. We are on the hunt for a puzzle that will trip him up.
For my layout, I traced around some puzzle pieces with a pen directly onto the Kraft cardstock. I then layered puzzle pieces cut with the die around the layout. I included a couple of question marks as a bit of extra interest.
In my embellishing, I have created 2 clusters, using paper wire, which I have made a small tangle with. The cogs from Birdie's embellies represent the mind ticking over. I have some flairs from Funky Flairs Studio, and an arrow from Charms Creations
This was actually quite a tricky layout to complete, but I think it looks ok, and I think my Dad will like it.
Thanks for looking at my layout and for any comments you may leave.
