So there is a new kid in town - lol. There is a new challenge site out there in the big wide world, and I must say, it's just a little exciting.
More than Words challenges are something to keep a watch out for. Their first challenge for January 2016 is to use a selfie photo and scrap about your personality.
I am one of those people who does struggle to scrap about myself, but I need to start embracing who I am, and that is pretty much what I have chosen to scrap about with my personality - a person who lacks confidence, and doesn't like to rock the boat. I am on a path to discovering myself at nearly 52, and I am on a path to changing me. So I took on the challenge, and this is what I came up with.

Of late, I have been enjoying doing clean scrapping, very little mixed media. However, for this challenge, I felt the mixed media which I was enjoying last year was needed for this layout. I especially love the
Charms Charms DIY heavenly heart, which I stamped, stenciled and then sprayed. I also love the
Rainbow Splendour bow, a recent acquisition to my stash.
I am happy with the end result of this layout.

Oh this looks lovely, the photo is so pretty and I love the bow.. and I am like you and very rarely scrap myself.. I think we should.. we have our story to tell too!

And like you I am looking for much change in myself this year! Looks like we have our work cut out for us!! Your layout is lovely! Love the composition! All the best from More Than Words! :)
