D-lish Scraps November Cybercrop challenge 4

The 3rd of the challenges that I managed to get done for this cybercrop was the colour challenge by Anna.

This was another fun challenge, nice to experiment with colours I would not ordinarily work with. I chose a photo of our friends daughter Charlie, that was bright and cheery, and it worked well with these colours. For the black of the background, I stencilled using rub on pastels and then some old rubons.
The D-lish Scraps products used were journal its, and the d-lish enamel dots.
Thanks for looking at my layout.

D-lish Scraps November Cybercrop Challenge 3

The next challenge I was able to get done for the D-lish Scraps November Cybercrop was the challenge set by Wendy, which was to include something Big on the layout.

I didn't have a big photo as was the example, so thought outside the square a little, and used a biggish title with the word BIG in a biggish font - lol. The photo used is of my nephew Jareth, on his dad's big bike, being a typical little boy, wanting to do what dad does.
The D-lish Scraps products used were the play tag, wood veneer, flair button and journaling tag.
Another fun challenge to do.
Thanks for looking at my layout.

D-lish Scraps November cybercrop Challenge 1

The D-lish Scraps cybercrop for November was held on the weekend 14th- 16th. I unfortunatetly didn't get to do as many challenges as I would have hoped to, as my son had his 21st birthday party last weekend. I did get 3 out of 5 challenges done, and the first was the sketch challenge set by Alz. I am finally getting to upload these here now.

For my layout I chose a photo of my son's girlfriend Alex, who was dressed in 60's costume for my 1960's style birthday party earlier in the year. I've been wanting to scrap this photo for a while, and this was the perfect challenge for it.
Amongst the D-lish Scraps produc ts used, were a flair button, paper flowers and a journal it's tab.
Thanks for the challenge Alz, it was fun.

Show Us Your Stuff November Challenge

Despite it being a busy month this month, with a 21st birthday to organise and celebrate, and now Christmas shopping, somehow I have managed to get some scrapping challenges done. I thought this one from Show Us Your Stuff for November, was a great challenge to inspire.

For this challenge, I chose the 5 x 7 inch photo, stencilling, the bow, and the word laugh to create this fun layout of a friend and his 3 daughters. This was fun, the photo needed something funky, and despite the paper being a bit old, with a bit of background work, I think it was just right for the layout.
My handmade embellishment is the 3 felt flowers, and also a handmade flair button.
Thanks SUYS for the challenge.
Thanks for looking at my layout.

D-lish Scraps November Inspiration Board Challenge

Wow, where has November gone! It's now the 23rd, and this is the first opportunity I have had to get to my blog. With my son's 21st birthday to organise and celebrate, scrapping has gone on the backburner this month. However, there was no way I was going to miss doing the D-lish Scraps Inspiration board - Coral Glitz, it is so lovely.
The colours are just beautiful. So for my layout, I had this photo of a friends daughter Charlie, aged 2, which I thought might work in well for this layout. I was lucky enough to obtain the November Just add paper kit from D-lish Scraps, and had some fun with it. Loved all the sequins, lol. Also from the JAP pack, I managed to use the lovely sequin bow, flair button, glitter border strip,  gorgeous white flower, and some washi tape. I added some sweet petites that I had in my stash.

I loved playing with this board, it was just so girlie.
Thanks for looking at my layout.
