Jot Magazine November/December Mood Board Challenge

Last month I had a go at doing the Jot Magazine November/December Mood Board challenge, but didn't get it up on the challenge site in time.
This month I am determined it be uploaded.
This was an extremely fun challenge to create for, using the very delicious inspiration board:

I just love the French Provincial feel to this, but, unfortunately, I didn't quite have a French Provincial photo to use to scrap with, but did use a very cute photo of a friends daughter, Charlie. I don't normally do Christmas layouts as a rule, have dabbled, but never created anything special. However, I'm really happy with the way this layout turned out. I used inspiration for the layout, from a scraplift from a layout created by my friend Alison Callcott.
Thanks for the inspiration for this layout Jot girls, and Alison.

D-lish Scraps December Inspiration Board Challenge - Summer Sorbet - Inspiration Team layout

I was very lucky to be chosen by Amanda at D-lish Scraps to be on the Inspiration Team for the next 3 months - yay me - first time ever on a team for design work for scrapbooking, so I feel pretty honoured and priveleged. The first board we got to design a layout for was this months December board, and I am sure you will agree with me, that this is simply delicious. Such cool colours for a summer board, so I am hoping that you all have a go at this board, and create something special.

So for my layout for this challenge, I was inspired by the sketch, but because of my photos, I chose to loosely interpret the sketch. I was however also inspired by the banner and the bows and the very summery colours of the board.
For this layout, I chose photos of my daughter Melanie and her school friends, they felt very summery to go with this inspiration board.
The D-lish Scraps products I have used are: button flairs, bakers twine and mini peg wood veneer, washi tape that I have made into a flag, D-lish dots, journal its monochromatic pack tags, pick and place bows.
I hope you also feel inspired by this inspiration board.
