Scrapping Outback January Challenge

I am a newbie to the Scrapping Outback challenges, but the January challenge, using the image below  as inspiration, looked like a lot of fun, so I gave it a go:
Even though a photo sipping a cocktail would have suited this image nicely, I chose a photo of  Charlie, a friends daughter munching on watermelon - what else does one do in summer?
The colours of this image are what inspired me to create this layout, I really loved the green and pink, which I have replicated in my layout. I used some shaved ice, a really fun product, which I have discovered recently, this replicates the ice in the glass.
I have used a Charms Creations (one of my other fave products at the moment)  handmade heart on the layout, the colours worked in perfectly.
I feel my layout has met the requirements of this challenge, I had fun with it anyway.
Thanks for looking at my layout, and any comments you may leave.
Yum
