Deer and Fawn July challenge

Well I surprised myself this weekend, I went to a wedding, did a whole load of chores and scrapped 2 layouts - yay me. One of those layouts was this one for the July challenge at Deer and Fawn. I really liked the sound of this challenge, which was to use the items from each letter from the word FAWN.
I had this photo of my nephews taken back in 2010, which I thought could work well for this challenge.
The items I have used are:
F - flair, flag
A - arrows, alphas
W - wood veneers, words
N - numbers
I started by die cutting some the number 4 - being that there are 4 little boys in the photo. I then spattered with some colours for the background. I layered co-ordinating papers, and added my embellishments including my arrow from Charms Creations, which worked well. The flair is from Funky Flairs Studio. I cut some words out of some really old scrap paper which told the story of family and children. I added some die cut arrows, and wood veneers. And the flag from D-lish Scraps.
I love the end result of this layout.
Thanks for looking at my layout, and any comments you may leave.
