D-lish Scraps Cybercrop Challenge 7 by Wendy

The colour challenge by Wendy, challenge number 7 for the D-lish Scraps Cybercrop, was a fun challenge to do late last night. The colours to use were inspired as below, such fun and bright colours:
I think my tiredness was kicking in though when I created this very whimsical layout of my nephew playing in the rain, not how I had thought this layout would turn out at all, but looking at it with fresh eyes this morning, I like it's touch of whimsy.
The D-lish Scraps products used in this layout are- umbrella wood veneer, bitty bags, flair and journaling card.
Thanks Wendy for the challenge.

D-lish Scraps Cybercrop Challenge 5 by Leanne

Challenge 5 for the D-lish Scraps cybercrop was a recipe challenge by Leanne. Now ordinarily I don't like recipes to follow for layouts, I sometimes feel a bit restricted. However, this recipe was awesome to play with, and this is my favourite layout that I have done this weekend.
The recipe is as follows:
I used this photo of myself, my mother and my sister, from my mother's 70th birthday. We don't get together much as a family, as we live in different states, so it's really nice when I do get to see my family, this photo means a lot to me.
The D-lish Scraps products I have used are the 3 flowers - FWAB Elise,  resin and cosmos daisy. I have also used a D-lish Scraps flair and Freckled Fawn wood veneers supplied by D-lish Scraps.
Thankyou Leanne for giving me the inspiration to create this layout, and allow me to not feel too afraid of recipes.

D-lish Scraps Cybercrop challenge 4 by Agnus

Challenge 4 for the D-lish Scraps Cybercrop was a real challenge - I'm just lucky I've got photos to play with from my recent 50th birthday party, which was a wacky 60's themed party, lol. The mood board by Agnus, is a very colourful inspiration board,  as below:
So for my layout I was inspired by the balloons and the colours to create another vibrant layout of my party.
The D-lish Scraps products I have used on my layout are a fabric flower, resin flowers and a flair.
I used a couple of cellophane lolly bags, (left-overs from my party), as part of the background.
Thanks for the inspiration Agnus.

D-lish Scraps Cybercrop Challenge 3 by Alz

This is another one of the challenges from the D-lish Scraps Cybercrop from this weekend, a product challenge by Alz, to use 5 different flowers on a layout. Now I have no issue with using flowers, or varieties of flowers on a layout, so this one was right up my alley, and flowers go so well with wedding photos, lol.
I used a variety of D-lish scraps flowers  - mini heirloom, cosmos daisy, aster, rosebuds, forget me nots, azalea, FWAB Elise, sweet petites, and sweetheart blooms. Other D-lish scraps products used on the layout include a resin cabochon and dove.
I used this vintage photo of my grandparents wedding, to create a not so vintage layout, with lots of other technique as well - using the glitter and ferrous paint.
Thanks Alz for the challenge.

D'Lish Scraps Cybercrop Challenge 2 - sketch challenge

Challenge 2 at the 5th birthday cypercrop for D'lish Scraps is a sketch challenge by Kylie, which was a lot of fun. The sketch as below was to be used for inspiration for the layout:

I had some really cute photos of my nephew Ethan, doing what babies do best, make a mess with food, lol. Thanks for the challenge Kylie, I did enjoy it.
The D'Lish Scraps products I have used on the layout are flair buttons, and bakers twine, and the Fresh Studio Instaframe.

D'Lish scraps cybercrop scraplift challenge 1

This weekend is the 5th birthday for D'lish Scraps, so a cybercrop was in order. Love a good cybercrop. The first challenge was the Tarrah's scraplift challenge, in which the challenge was to find some inspiration in her layout that is inspires our own.

I loved Tarrah's use of the chevron background and this is part of what inspired my layout, but also the natural hues and colours that Tarrah has used.
For my layout I have used the following D'lish Scraps products - journal its - tabs, wood veneers, button flair.
I love the way this layout of my daughter and one of her longtime school friends came together. Thanks Tarrah for the challenge.

Lets Get Shabby Challenge #56

So the Let's Get Shabby challenge # 56 is to use transparency. I love using transparency, but do not use it often. I love how it adds detail, but without covering over too much of the layout. With the variety of transparent embellishments available now, we are spoilt for choice.
For my layout, I chose to use some detail from a Kaisercraft sheet of transparency that depicts travel, which I have used behind my layout and also in the top left hand part of the layout, along with a Heidi Swapp transparent heart on the photo. I also used some Hambly transparency to highlight the words Notre Dame under my photo, along with a bit of washi tape that is semi-transparent.
Thanks for looking at my layout.
